i woke up super late today.

okay so reached band late.
i was planning on going at 11
but me being the nice person i am,
decided not to let quin die on her own,
so went and reached at 9.
late 15 min for no reason.

the moment i stepped into the band room.
i saw quin standing up playing 80's

had a very nice morning band session :D
worked on the actions for 80's and saints.

then everyone had batch lunch.

then the sec2s decided to go lunch with their 'batchies'.

went batch lunch.

we started running on the bridge.

so i shall start blogging on this 3 day holiday,
which didn't turn out to be as bad as i thought. :D

and i found out where i went :D

day1
woke up at 6.

drove down there,
i slept the whole way.
so yeah.


had lunch as some ulu place.

port dickson's flies are as irritating as SOME PEOPLE.
whole day buzz buzz around.

then blew up the lousy floating bed thing for them.

seriously i was dying.


hmm slept pretty early.
can't rmb much of the first day.






2nd day
went around in search of some non-existent nature reserve.
and we spent 3 hrs driving around, looking for that reserve and some lousy beach.
ohmygosh.
i got sunburnt.
amazing.


then had lunch at some lousy place,
that looks okay on the outside,
as in presentable.
but inside its hell i tell you.


OH THEN WE WENT SHOPPING! :D
okay i needed it alot.
haha, spent like 4 hours walking around 2 ulu shopping centres where half the shops were closed.
oh yeah, at PD,
they don't open shop until like 3pm or smth. gosh.

didn't really buy alot this time around. grah.


went back to the hotel.
OH YES, the hotel room is GORGEOUS!
as in you open the door, its the bathroom first you know!
there's this super stylish tub,
and yeah,
ITS SO COOL :D


anyways,
went and swim in the pool :D
FINALLY.
but apparently the pool was like 10m by 25m.
which is super pathetic,
and the shape was so unimaginative okay.


and my stamina is dying.

when i was going to watch my dvds,
THERE WAS A BLACKOUT.

i almost died.
so 10 of us,
had to survive on 1 pathetic dying torchlight,

then went to the water chalets there.

730: woke up. headache. went back to sleep.
900: woke up and realised its NINE.
got an sms from kexin, asking me to tell shimin that she'll be late.
HAHA i told her that i was still at home. and i think she died.
915: out of the house, rushing to band.
935: reached band. the whole band turned when i went in. i think they thought its chong. ha.


okay.
morning band was draining.
i was tired, sleepy, and thirsty.

BAND OUTING.
ha,
reached east coast at 9.
and i realised me and jo were the first ones there.
=.= APPARENTLY.
i msged kexin at 830 and she just woke up.
HOW PRO.
anyways,
took a tour ard east coast, and i already died.
walking around in flops for about 1k plus is NOT easy.





then after that played 5 rounds of bridge.
WHICH I WON.
yes, jo was super pathetic pls.
just there to make the 4 and thats it.
omg, i think she had only 4 points.
and that round is had 16 points. HAHAHA.
what a pro person i am.



then band came.

had icebreakers.

swsy concert!
i shall start from the beginning.
met kexin at ps.
supposed to meet at 4.
knowing she'll be late, i left hse at 4, reached at 415.
and she came at 430.
WOW. at 415 she was stuck in her car, which wasn't moving.
rotted at yamaha and looked for scores for about 45min.
then we realised its quite late.
rushed around for buy flowers.
THE FREAKING ROSE COST ME 3 BUCKS.
i nearly died.
3 bucks per rose.
ohmy.
okay nvm.
i think fifi deserves the flower.
ignatius also. :D
the rose was so pretty okay,
until kexin spoilt it. TSKK.

Alien Invasion

Facilitator Story: Everybody has been captured by aliens and they will be released if they help the alien to drop their eggs on Mars without breaking them. The alien has made some of their group members speechless, while the others are either totally paralyzed or deaf (just in case they try to escape or call for help)...

Preparation:

Play with multiple groups

Each group will be separated into 3 categories (noisiest, quietest, blindfolded - with the ratio of 4:4:2)

The noisiest people are not allowed to talk throughout the game. They are also not allowed to physically help with the egg. They can, however, give their ideas on how to protect the egg only through body languages

The quietest people are not allowed to move, they are only allowed to talk.

The rest will be blindfolded but they are allowed to talk and move.

The noisiest people in the group will have the most ideas, but are not allowed to talk or help with the egg, so the only way to present their idea to the quietest people is through body language.

The quietest people in the group will have their chance to speak a lot, they are not allowed to help with the egg but they can tell those who is doing the wrapping of the egg what to do

The blindfolded people will do all the wrapping of the egg, they can't see what they are doing but they can listen to instructions given by the quietest people.

The quietest people will tell the blindfolded people where are all the items are, and how to wrap the egg

you know,
sometimes i just feel that all of you should stop acting.
yeah, everything's so bad.
you want to "go and suicide".
why? only because of something, if it is, minutely important.
yet, you all treat it like the whole world depends on it.
oh well, i suppose you all can't help it.
yeah, i think this way too.
and i still do.
just that i'm too used to seeing what i always see,
hearing what i always hear,
to care.



this somewhat expresses what i feel.

The seconds ticked away as I twiddled my yellow No. 2 pencil and stared at the booklet on my desk. I was in the middle of the ACT, and I had exactly nine minutes to answer six questions about the Sahara Desert.
Panic set in as I concentrated on the answer sheet, where empty bubbles now swarmed before my eyes. My panic didn't disappear when I submitted my answer sheet. The next few weeks I remained a nervous wreck as I waited for the results. Then finally the test scores arrived. After I tore open the envelope, I was relieved to see scores that weren't too bad. Finally, I thought, life can return to normal again.
But life didn't return to normal. Comparing ACT and SAT scores became the latest craze. It wasn't long before I began to see my fellow students as numbers.
"There goes 28! … Over there's 1,500!"
As silly as it sounds, I'd started viewing myself and others through the distorted mirror of test scores. When I'd run into someone whose score was lower than mine, I'd be up and full of self-confidence. When I ran into someone with a score higher than mine, I'd be down and full of doubts about my abilities.
When I finally set foot on a college campus, other things soon took the place of those standardized scores. Before long, I was asking myself questions like: Did I make the Dean's list? Did I ask smart questions in class? Is my major as tough as everyone else's?
After about a semester of this, I had to stop and ask myself a more important question: Where does my real value come from? I'd known the answer for a long time, but I'd kind of forgotten it. My self-esteem doesn't come from my ability to ace a test or beat out my classmates for top academic honors. My worth as a person comes from God, who lovingly created me in his own image. And that's something that can never be measured by tests, grades or the Dean's list.

75% to 70% to 65% to 60%. soon it will be 50%
from handing in quality work on time,
to just scraping that deadline with low quality work.
from studying for quizes, to a can't-be-bothered-with-it-attitude.
from doing my essays properly, to doing it within an hour, and trying to get past it.
seriously,
i'm just so accustomed to failing that i don't care any more.


i utterly disgust myself.


miracles only happen when you work for them.
dreams only come true if they are realistic, and hardwork is put in.
childhood fantasies don't come true anymore.
its the real deal.



and suddenly i realise i'm alot like you.



i expect things to be there, when i don't work for them.
self centered, world revolved around me, attitude.
